I can't believe that it's already August and summer is 2/3 over. It seems like just last week I was wearing a winter coat and dreaming of walking my dog in flip flops. Well, here we are for my July 2025 photo dump. Most of these I took around Downtown Minneapolis with a few from Uptown, Lake Harriet and random neighborhoods I happen to bike through. Enjoy!
I'm still shooting with my Ricoh GRIIIx as my primary camera. For the rest of the summer I've switched shooting in only Reggies Negative Recipe which gives the photos a beautiful soft film summery glow. I really don't know what I'm doing to edit photos. There are so many options and I end up just getting overwhelmed with them all and end up with something over processed. I'm trying to narrow it down to a simple formula and style but feeling a bit lost on what direction I want to go. Do I do it all in Lightroom? Or VSCO? Is the there presets I should be using? Well, first I have to decide what story and vibe I'm trying to tell. Until I can figure that part out, my photos will be a mix of different editing styles I guess.
